CERVIERO
Antique chest of drawers,
walnut, oak and resin - 19th century
The wild naturalness of the wood chosen for the
forehead expresses a deep aesthetic bond
with the decorative details of antique furniture.
The graceful lines of this piece of furniture, the result
of the centuries-old knowledge of the craftsmen of the
past, suggested a potential for great
refinement and elegance.
Reversible interventions bring a
completely contemporary functionality, with
push-to-open opening systems and drawers
cushioned leather-finished.

OPHIS
118 x 57 x 94 H
The 18th century chest of drawers was located in
terrible conditions. We cleaned and restored
the supporting structure, deliberately leaving the
original patina, aged over the centuries.
The internal interlocking structure, with drawers of
oak and elm burl for an ergonomic
contemporary creates a unique contrast and
fascinating.
The doors, made with an elm mirror
as per ancient tradition, they are completed by
two rivers of epoxy resin.
The pyramidal feet in neoclassical style are made
entirely by hand from a rough block of
resin, a completely handcrafted marvel.
HEPHAESTUS
120 x 60 x 90 H
Louis XVI style cabinet, oak and resin interior and doors - 19th century
The piece of furniture, donated to us in disastrous condition, showed obvious signs of accidental combustion on the back and one side. By deliberately completing the charring, the myth of Hephaestus found its way into the project, and the mask, from a corner of the workshop, seemed to come to life, attracting our attention—perfect, lyrical, and symbolic.
From the flames of Hephaestus's forge, from the strength of his muscles, and from the perfection to which every craftsman strives, this unique and evocative work is born .
A spontaneous and fluid composition, as if guided by the ancient God himself
